To celebrate International Women’s Day, Levi’s continued its ongoing initiative “I Shape My World” with a global campaign featuring 4 inspiring women. Music producer Jekka, award-winning journalist Melis Alphan, computer scientist Joy Buolamwini, and skater/mentor Myriah Marquez all address a common situation for women: The use of the qualifier “female” when describing what they do. Eg, “female filmmaker” or “female cyclist.”
